The hospital was established in the year 1970s as a a dispensary and upgraded through various levels and became Taluk Head Quarters Hospital in the late 1980s and having a bed strength of 157. Hospital is having a total area of 4.67 acres plot of land. The average OP per day 1250 and IP is 100. There are 11 specialties functioning in the hospital.

Ambulance Services
We have ambulance service 24 hours a day throughout the year. Ambulance facility is available to transfer patients to other hospitals or meet any exigency/disaster. Hospital ambulance charges Rs. 10/- per KM and 108 ambulances are completely free of charges.
Casualty And Emergency Services
Casualty has 10 ICU standard beds and also fully air conditioned. We have implemented triage system in the casualty. It Located in the ground floor of A Block and easily accessible from the hospital. These services are available 24 hour a day, throughout the year. Anyone with urgent medical problem can seek consultation/treatment in the Emergency. Emergency has dedicated team of Casualty Medical Officers, Nurses, Paramedics and Hospital Attendants etc. to provide urgent medical service. The treating doctors will call any specialist, who is available on call for urgent consultation as and when required. The Emergency is fully equipped with all modern gadgets like monitors, ventilators, nebulizers, defibrillators, central O2 and suction supply etc. Facilities like patient trolleys are available at the entrance of Emergency. Public utilities like toilets, waiting area, fans, chairs etc. are available All MLC cases are registered at Police Station.
Out Patient Services (OPD)
Working time from 8 am to 1 pm. OP ticket costing Rs. 5/- can be availed from the OP ticket counter located at hospital frond area and the ticket is valid for one month from the date of issue and free to all the beneficiaries coming under the schemes RBSK/AK and JSSK. You have the right to consult any doctor/ consultant on his/her OPD days. Patients are seen on first come first serve basis. However, out of turn consultation may be provided in case of emergency or to senior citizens.
